I have taken AP Biology, SAT Biology, SAT, and MCAT and have done well on all 4 of them; my strongest subjects being biology and verbal reasoning. I scored a 680 on the Critical Reading portion of the SAT, a 690 on SAT BIO, a 5 on AP Bio, and a 126-127 on the BIO and Reading sections of the MCAT. I have about 2 years of formal tutoring experience during which I served as an undergraduate teaching assistant at my college. I worked with professors to help find better ways to communicate the material with our students. I had the privilege of helping students out via online and one-on-one tutoring. My greatest strength as a tutor is that I am able to communicate complex topics into basic terms. I also enjoy using analogies and simple tricks to help students learn and retain the material they are learning. I am very patient and always go the extra mile to offer any assistance. It gives me much satisfaction when I see a student overcoming and learning to enjoy a topic which they previously struggled with.

Hobbies
I am very down to earth and can get along with almost anyone. I believe in working smarter and efficiently; and that is the philosophy I hope to impart with my students. My future goal is to become a doctor so I can better treat and educate my community on matters of health. Some of my hobbies include playing the piano and practicing martial arts; both of which I have been doing for the past 10 years. I am also an avid blogger and enjoy writing reviews/critiques on fragrances and restaurants.
